Before choosing a university, understand the process first

Your current stage: CLARITY - understanding the process before choosing a university
Most families start by looking at universities too early.
Without understanding how medical, dental or veterinary studies abroad actually work, it is easy to focus on the wrong options or make decisions based on incomplete information.
This stage helps you understand the bigger picture first, so that when you choose a university, it is based on clarity - not assumptions.
You don't need to have it all figured out yet
If you are considering Medicine, Dentistry or Veterinary Medicine abroad, you probably have more questions now than when you first started looking.
Are my grades good enough?
Which countries should I even be looking at?
Can I still work in the UK afterwards?
How much will it really cost?
When do I need to apply?
What if I choose the wrong university?
This is completely normal.
Most students and parents I speak to have already spent hours researching before they come to me. The problem is often not a lack of information. It is knowing which information actually matters for your situation and what you should be thinking about first.
The Study Abroad Clarity Session is designed to help you step back from all of that information, understand how studying Medicine, Dentistry or Veterinary Medicine in Europe actually works, and leave with a clearer idea of what your next step should be.
This is a consultation, not a sales call
The purpose of this session is not to convince you that studying abroad is the right decision.
It may be. It may not be.
My role is to help you understand the reality of the option you are considering – including the opportunities, limitations, costs, timelines and practical considerations - so you can make an informed decision for yourself or your child.
I will not spend the session telling you how wonderful every option is. If there is something you need to think carefully about, I will tell you. If something may not be realistic, I will explain why.
The goal is not to sell you a university. The goal is for you to leave with more clarity than you had when you arrived.
What we cover
This is not the stage where we choose universities for you.
This is the stage where we help you understand what you need to know before choosing.

If, after the consultation, you decide that you would like further structured support, the consultation fee can be credited towards your next step with Desire2Study, including UniMatch, MedApp or MedEntry.
This allows the consultation to become part of your wider support process, rather than a separate one-off appointment.
This is the best first step if you’re still exploring.
Need help choosing the right universities?
If, during or after the consultation, it becomes clear that you need personalised university options based on the student’s academic profile, budget, goals and long-term plans, the next step would be UniMatch.
In UniMatch, we:
✅ review the student’s academic profile in depth
✅ assess which routes may be realistic
✅ identify suitable universities
✅ explain entry requirements, timelines and next steps
✅ help you avoid applying to universities that may not be the right fit
If you decide to continue with UniMatch or a wider support package after your consultation, your consultation fee can be credited towards your next stage of support.
Why this matters
Why starting with clarity matters
For many students and families, the biggest challenge is not simply finding universities. It is understanding which options actually make sense.
Choosing a university based on limited, unclear or incomplete information can lead to applying to the wrong universities, missing better opportunities, unnecessary stress and last-minute decisions.
This consultation helps you understand the bigger picture first, so you can make informed decisions with more confidence.

Who this session is for
This session is a good starting point if you are considering studying Medicine, Dentistry or Veterinary Medicine abroad but do not yet have a clear plan.
You may be wondering:
✅ whether studying abroad is realistic for you or your child
✅ how European admissions differ from the UK
✅ whether your current academic situation may still leave you with options
✅ what the overall process, costs and timelines look like
✅ what you should be thinking about now – and what can wait
✅ whether studying abroad is something you want to pursue further at all
You do not need to know which country or university you want before the session. That is often exactly why students and parents come to me.
Why this is a paid clarity session
Many students and parents are used to free consultation calls in this industry.
However, free calls often have a different purpose. They are usually designed to introduce a service, encourage a quick decision, or guide you towards a specific university route.
Our Study Abroad Clarity Session is different.
This is a paid, focused consultation for students and families who want to understand the study abroad process before committing to full personalised support.
During the session, you can ask initial questions, understand the general steps, discuss timelines, budget considerations and practical preparation, and get a feel for how we guide students and families.
You will also get a feel for how I work and whether my approach is right for your family - but there is no expectation that you continue with further support afterwards.
We do not use this session to pressure you into a specific university or support plan. The goal is to help you understand the process, your next steps, and whether our style of guidance feels like the right fit for you and your family.
