Can I change my selected exam date later?
After registration, you will receive a form where you can confirm your preferred exam sitting.
If needed, it may be possible to change your selected exam date later, but only before the internal deadline and only if all required application details/documents have been provided on time.
For the 12 July UK sitting, early confirmation is strongly recommended because the registration list is closing soon.

This is a simple, focused registration service for students who already know they want to apply to UPJS.

If you later need to request a change of exam date, this must be done before the internal deadline and only if all required application details/documents have been provided on time.
Do I need to travel to Slovakia?
No, not if you choose one of the UK sittings in Peterborough. If you prefer, you may also choose to sit the exam directly at UPJS in Slovakia on the available university date.
Do I still need to apply separately?
No. The UPJS Pavol Jozef Šafárik University application submission is included within this service.
Do I need to stay overnight?
This depends on where you are travelling from. Some students travelling from further areas of the UK may choose to stay overnight before the exam. The venue has a number of rooms to rent out if you wish to stay overnight. You will need to arrange this separately (overnight stay is not included in this service).
Is this official?
Yes. The UK exam sitting is organised in cooperation with UPJS and supervised by an official university representative
Do I need my final A-level results before sitting the exam?
No. Many students sit the entrance exam before receiving their final school results.
Can I change my UPJS exam date after registering?
It may be possible to request a change of exam date after registration, but this must be done before the internal deadline and only if all required application details/documents have been provided on time.
For students considering moving to the earlier 12 July UK sitting, Desire2Study must be informed by 1st July 2026 at the latest.
This is because we need enough time to prepare the application and submit the exam registration details to UPJS.
I am unsure whether I meet the university requirements. Can I still register?
You may still register before final school results are available, but registration for the exam does not guarantee that you meet all final admission requirements. Final admission decisions are made directly by the university after reviewing your academic documents.
